Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fontine was found last summer darting across a patio in Rogers, dragging a broken collar on the ground. She was nearly starved, and impossible to approach. After a few weeks of eating a lot of food left for her by the homeowner (one of our Feline Friends group) she was caught and taken to the vet for collar removal, vaccines and other treatment. Since then, Fontine has been living upstairs in a house with two very territorial cats living downstairs. They refuse to accept her and she behaves aggressively toward them, so rehoming is her adopter's best option.
Fontine is a Maine Coon mix, shy but very affectionate once her trust is gained. She prefers women, and is afraid of children. Fontine is extremely smart; she will make some lucky person a devoted companion. Indoor-only, single cat home please.
