Jessie is a 4 month old puppy that had quite a rough start to her life. She came to us with a broken leg AND a broken hip! Red Bank Veterinary Hospital operated on her and within 24 hours she was back in foster care, with a shaved hip bone and pins/screws in her front leg. Unbelievably, she is happy, playful, and still loves every single person she comes into contact with...no fear or fearful behaviors.

Jessie's back leg will always be a tiny bit shorter than her other leg, but she will have no discomfort whatsoever once she is healed. Already she is trying to play with the other dogs in her foster home, and she sleeps right through the night on her foster mom's pillow. She is amazingly smart and is 95% housetrained. She has a great appetite and such a good attitude - we think she may be an angel in disguise.

Jessie needs some follow-up treatment (X-rays to make sure the pin/screws are in the proper place), and after that she will be ready for her new home. She is up to date on all her vaccinations, and we will require an additional $100.00 deposit (in addition to the $200.00 adoption fee) which will be returned upon proof of spaying. Whoever adopts Jessie can be assured of a fantastic, loving dog who is friendly and social with everyone (human and canine) that she meets. If you feel you can complete Jessie's life, please fill out an application, or come to our next adoption event to meet her! She will be waiting for you!
