Bear's Story...
Bear was rescued by a good Samaritan. He is approx. 6 moths old, loves other cats and is okay with dogs. He is fearful- but not aggressive with- young children (under age 10), but okay with older children. He was brought to Morrisville Veterinary Hospital with a broken hind leg. He was scheduled for a limb amputation, however, following 3 weeks of cage rest, repeat x-rays revealed that the leg had miraculously healed to the point where the amputation was no longer necessary.

He now runs and plays just like any other kitten and should require no special other than being kept indoors. He would be a perfect fit into a quiet home as a companion for other cats. If you are interested in adopting this cutie, please contact Allison Adamousky (215) 493-8851 or Amy Weiss (215) 694-6931. Veterinary references required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Warminster Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Warminster, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Warminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
