Bosco & Elmo-NC's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bosco & Elmo-NC's Story...
9-1/2 yr. old Bosco and 9 yr. old Elmo are the sweetest dogs you could ever want for your ready made family! Bosco, the Peke, and Elmo, the Shih Tzu, have spent their entire lives together with the same family. Sadly, a change in the family's dynamics caused these little guys to lose their home.

Both dogs are even tempered and very bonded to each other. Bosco is the "alpha" in their relationship and thinks it's wonderful fun to lead the chase of the foster family's cat (not a very willing participant of the game!). They are happy, compliant, and well trained in simple commands and leash walking. They are very good and loving with respectful children.

Bosco and Elmo are being fostered in Winterville, NC and the adoption fee is $275 for the pair.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bosco & Elmo-NC, a Chapel Hill Pekingese/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese/Shih Tzu for sale in Chapel Hill, or seeking a Pekingese/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Chapel Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chapel Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chapel Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Pekingese/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chapel Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
