BLAKE's Story...
This is Blake and he is just about a year old. a Blonde Golden Retriever and as good- natured as they come. Gets along with everyone, all size dogs, adults and kids. Blake is very laid back but does love to play with other dogs, running in the yard, so he needs a place to exercise. Blake uses a doggy door to come in and out of the house and therefore he has not had any accidents in the house. He learned this very quickly. Blake is a big boy about 70+ lbs.Blake would love a family, maybe with kids and for sure a dog or two. If you are interested in Blake call 913-909-6130 or email barkindogs1@aol.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BLAKE, a Overland Park Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
