My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ava

· Adult petite female - Approx. 1 yr old - 6 lbs

· DSH tuxedo (Black/white coat)

· FeLV-FIV negative; current on all vacs

· Spayed, micro-chipped & house trained

Ava, a petite & cute female tuxedo, is like a little ray of golden sunshine, full of life and super sweet ...in search of a forever loving home. Rescued late at night/early 2012 in some apartment bushes hungry and meowing up a storm, little Ava was obviously lost or abandoned and starving. Ava talks with the cutest gurgle/meow that's very adorable & endearing, especially when she's in a playful "romper room" mood, which is quite often because she still has an obvious kitten side to her. This playful side is indeed huge (laser lite thrills, toys, cardboard boxes, hide-n-seek with other kitties) and she's a bit curious, but moreso super agile when it comes to her cat tree tower (Ava loves sitting on the tip top of that - what cat wouldn't?!). Given a good window seat, Ava is intent on checking out the birds and squirrels daily (she definitely had a taste of that while being lost outdoors and hasn't forgotten!) Even still, Ava knows indoors now is much more safe and very comfortable...and her tummy stays happily full~

Initially in some disarray and shock for 3 days after being rescued and brought indoors...this cutie "rainbow bright of a gal" calmed down quickly and now has all the right stuff to winning your heart! Ava definitely has lots of potential in becoming a lap partner. She's extremely sweet....craves loving and is a little cuddle-kissy bug (Ava is all about giving kisses!) Ava will always remain petite, almost kitten-like; her head is even super small. The ideal home for Ava would be one with a non-aggressive kitty she could play and buddy up with.
