My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dorothy is a spunky, well adjusted little puppy! She loves to give kisses and cuddle up next to you! She is good with other dogs and with small children. She is a smart little gal who has been using a dog door since she was just 6 weeks old. Of course Dorothy is still to young to be house-broken, buts she is on the right track and I don't think it will take her long to learn. Dorothy was rescued from the Indian Reservation. Her owners were letting the small puppies run around outside and one had already been lost to a coyote. Dorothy was very lucky that the owners agreed to let the nice police officer take her away from there. She looks just like a black lab puppy, but we do not know what her parents are. Based on past history of what I know about the dogs in the area, I estimate she will be 35-50 lbs when grown. Dorothy has been a delight to have around and to watch grow. Typically we have multiple puppies, but Dorothy has been the only one this time in a house with much larger and older dogs. She has made herself at home and it is fun to watch her ambush and pounce on the older dogs when trying to get them to play with her. Dorothy's adoption fee is $200 and that includes de-worming, spay, and series of puppy vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Dorothy, please contact Delon.Washo@asu.edu or 602-295-4518.

AZ Prussian Snailhound Dog Rescue would like to remind everyone that puppies are a big commitment and require a lot of attention. Puppies often exhibit undesirable behaviors such as chewing and digging. Of course they also are a lot of fun and are very lovable too. When choosing a puppy please consider how much time you will be able to spend training and socializing your new puppy.
