Scooter's Story...
We would like to introduce you to Scooter. This little boy was found as a stray and brought into BRL from an out of state rescue. Scooter is the "Total Package"!!!! As you can see, he is super cute, has charm, personality AND.....He's quiet!!!!! Scooter is appox. 3 years old and weighs in at 18 lbs .He tested positive for Heartworm, was treated and is now on a monthly preventative.

Scooter is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. He is a little shy when first meeting people, but warms up once he feels safe..... He is such a love with people and dogs and even though he is a little on the mellow side, he loves to play. He gets along great with other dogs, but can be a little intimidated by larger dogs, so we are looking for a home with a similar sized canine companion for him. He can be found at any given time carrying around a stuffed animal. Scooter would love a fenced in yard, as he so enjoys being outside playing or just hanging out. Scooter walks well on a leash, rides well in a car and is doing great with his house training. He is crate trained and enjoys going into his crate to lay down. Please consider adopting this little boy to be part of your family, as he will bring you years of love and smiles.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scooter, a Yardley Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Yardley, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Yardley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yardley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yardley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yardley paves the way for another one to be saved.
