Joanie's Story...
This is Joanie. She is a beautiful domestic shorthair cat with medium length very soft hair and an awesome fluffy tail. She is a very quiet and mellow cat. I've never even heard her meow. She loves to lay in the sun spot by the window. And she loves to be pet. Check her out, along with the other cats, on the video attached and then come and meet her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joanie, a Oyster Bay Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Oyster Bay, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Oyster Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oyster Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oyster Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oyster Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
