Well if you have BBDS (Big Black Dog Syndrome) Devon is the dog for you. He is a 14 wk Lab mix. He will probably be a medium sized dog. He is all black except for a hint of white on his chest. He was abandoned with his siblings, only being fed by the neighbors. When he came into foster care, he was very shy, by since being there he has come out of his shell. He loves treats and is working on sit. He is so smart and a sweetheart. He is up to date on his shots. Devon is just looking for a home he can call his own. Will it be yours?

Pooches & Purrs Cooperative is a group of rescues and individual rescuers that are working hard to find loving homes for the dogs, cats, kittens and puppies that find their way into our care through no fault of their own. Each individual or group has several wonderful dogs In Tennessee, Alabama or Kentucky looking for homes! All of them are completely vetted and neutered/spayed (if age appropriate) and on heartworm protection. All of them come with complete medical records. Their adoption fee of $450 covers their complete age appropriate vetting and heartworm preventative as well as their transportation to your area.

At times, a dog may be in foster care in New England and their bio will clearly be marked as such. These southern dogs & cats are brought up to their new owners weekly! We have a 14 day money back guarantee and the pet can be rehomed appropriately if things don't work out. Each group tries hard to get good matches in your homes so that everyone has a happy life together! To date the cooperative has placed over a two thousand dogs and puppies, cats and kittens in loving New England homes!
