Our Adoption Process...
Orphan Annie rescue is an all volunteer organization. We require an adoption application, and our decision process may include a home, vet and reference check. We review applications as quickly as possible, but ultimately our goal is the right match for our rescue animals. Our dog adoption fee is $200-$250. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, dewormed, and microchipped prior to adoption. Our cat adoption fee is $130. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, combo tested, and microchipped prior to adoption. Depending on the dog, we will allow out of state adopters who reside in the Northeast. There is an additional charge of $135 for dogs transported to homes in the Northeastern United States. This fee is paid directly to the transport company.
All of our adopters will be required to sign a contact at the time of adoption. We will always take back our dogs, and they cannot be rehomed by an adopter.
