Nota's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Nota's Story...
Nota is not in the Closer to Home Animal Advocates program. We are listing her as a courtesy to her owner and we will help screen applications.

Nota is a 7-year-old spayed female Siberian Husky with one brown eye and one blue eye (bi-eyed). She lives with her brother, Nogo, and their owner needs to rehome both dogs. They are bonded pair and we would like to find a home that will take both of them. These dogs have been outdoor dogs for the last five years. Prior to that time they were housetrained. They are both good-natured dogs that do well with people but haven't been around small children very much (not that it's a problem but we just don't know). They seem to be ok with some other dogs but they are not good with cats.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out and submit our online application. Vet and personal references will be checked and a home visit is required. Also, a minimum 5' high fenced yard is required to adopt any of our dogs and invisible fences are NOT acceptable.

All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm tested and on monthly heartworm preventative year-round.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nota, a Belleville Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Belleville, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Belleville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Belleville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Belleville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Belleville paves the way for another one to be saved.
