Sass's Story...
Sass: Young dark brownish/black with white tuxedo silky short haired tuxedo small girl.

Position Seeking: Resident Exercise Partner, Lapwarmer and Cuddler.

Experience: Proven well trained housecat, uses litterbox, gets along well with others with some patience. Extremely friendly to those she knows. Craves attention from her human friends, very loving, enjoys being picked up once she knows you.

Most recent position: Showed up at a business in San Jose where the employees maintained food/water for the ferals and stray cats there. She helped to successfully maintain the grounds as rodent free. She has a virtually-identical twin named Sis, who is bolder than Sass, but they both have the same sweet faces and personalities.

Recommendations: Sass is too passive to continue to live the outdoor life of a stray, she prefers the cushy indoor life. Good with cats. Very sweet, nice girl! (Note: she has small tufts on the ends of her ears - maybe some Maine Coon background despite her short fur?)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sass, a Morgan Hill Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Morgan Hill, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Morgan Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morgan Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morgan Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morgan Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
