Zoe's Story...
Meet Zoe! Zoe was part of a litter of 5 that were received so young that they had to be bottle fed. Unfortunately, only her and her brother Sport made it through. This precious girl is approximately 10 weeks old. She is very sweet, great with other dogs and children. She is great with cats as she lived with 5 in her foster home!

Zoe is in a foster home, learning the art of housebreaking and crate training. She is fixed and up to date on shots.

If you would like more information or are interested in adopting this sweet girl, please email bigdogrescue@windstream.net . Please no phone calls as we are 100 percent volunteer based! Emails are promptly answered!!

Adoption Fee: $120.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoe, a Callahan Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in Callahan, or seeking a Collie puppy from a breeder in Callahan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Callahan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Callahan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Callahan paves the way for another one to be saved.
