Apollo's Story...
Apollo is a 9 week old, 10 lbs. son of Amy, (also found on our site for adoption, she is a beautiful blonde Golden Retreiver/ChowChow mix). Daddy doggie MUST have been a Black Lab... but it's all a guessing game since we don't know the actual sire to this litter. Either way Apollo is a fantastic puppy, playful, sweet and smart.... He has it ALL!! Apollo was vaccinated, treated with preventatives for parasites and loved since he arrived with his family. Apollo is looking for a place to spend the rest of his life. If you are ready for a 15 yr. commitment to Apollo... please visit www.masrescue.org to fill in the dog adoption from and email it back asap. Adoption fee for Apollo is $225.00. Good Luck!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apollo, a Baltimore Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
