Cocoa MINIATURE COCKER SPANIEL's Story...
Little Cocoa spent the first years of her life in a puppy mill producing babies to be sold in pet stores. She lived in a cramped, dirty cage and never had a chance to see the grass or the sky, to go on a walk or to hear kind words from people, or to have her own special place. This little darling is still a little shy when she meets new people or sees new things so her new family will have to be a little bit patient with her. Cocoa is very quiet and would be a wonderful choice for a family that lives in a place where a small, yappy dog is not a perfect companion. Cocoa loves other dogs and would probably be happiest in a home where she could have a canine companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cocoa MINIATURE COCKER SPANIEL, a Antioch Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Antioch, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Antioch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Antioch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Antioch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Antioch paves the way for another one to be saved.
