MYKAIA's Story...
This beautiful young lady was surrendered to Project Buddy rescue as her caretakers did not want her any longer. She is a loving, and wonderful dog with a peaceful spirit. She loves other dogs and loves to play, she is still young and would love an active family to call her very own. She is doing well with her obedience and we are working on ACK Canine Good Citizen test. She does well with young children and does well in the home. She would love to spend forever with a family, and would do great in a home with another active dog. If you have any questions, or would like to meet Mykaia, please contact us at: projectbuddyrescue@gmail.com for an application. Home, reference check and adoption fee applies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MYKAIA, a Kingston Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler for sale in Kingston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Kingston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingston paves the way for another one to be saved.
