Pee Wee's Story...
Howdeee Beagle Gang! Pee Wee is my name, I just turned 7 years old in March but my foster mom says she thinks I have the energy of a 3 year old! Although I may be a more petite beagle, there is nothing little about my heart! It's as big as Texas!! A nice rescue group in Payson contacted Arizona Beagle Rescue to save me and boy am I happy they did. I was left at a shelter because the family I had known for 6 years was just too busy with their own lives to care for me. I was sad but ready to find a new family that will love me forever! I'm crate and house trained. I ride really nicely in a car and will cuddle right up with you on a couch if you want me too. I know how to "sit", "lay down", and I love to dance on my back legs for a treat! I really like kids and they seem to like me too. I LOVE all people, and other dogs but I think cats are fun to chase. I get along with them, I just like to chase them. I love to take walks but I could use some training on not pulling on the leash. I'm not a normal beagle when it comes to eating. My foster brother and sister gobble theirs up in a few seconds. I like to eat my food slowly and enjoy it! I'm also not a big howler. My foster mom says I'm the quietest beagle she's ever had and that I have the cutest pink nose she's ever seen. I hope you want to meet me really soon. I'm waiting for a family just like you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pee Wee, a Phoenix Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
