Moto's Story...
Moto is a gorgeous, fun and incredibly sweet, one-year-old, 41-pound (slim) brown-eyed, male, tri-color Rottweiler-mix looking for a loving guardian. Moto loves to play with other big dogs … He also loves people, going for walks, rides in the car and playing ball. He is super snugly and loving, full of kisses, butt wiggles and tail wags for everyone he meets. He is living in a foster home and starting to learn his basic commands. He sits on command and takes treats gently from your fingers. Moto was found on the expressway just outside Detroit while a young couple was driving from Brooklyn to Chicago to visit grandparents. His original family could not be found, so he’s now looking for a loving family. To meet and possibly adopt him, please contact Sheri@petraits.com or 773-777-2891. He is healthy, de-wormed, neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moto, a Chicago Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
