Stella is an Umbrella cockatoo who recently came into rescue and she is a real find! Her sex is not known but she's been called a she because of her beauty and gentle nature. So far we've got a little girl who just loves and craves affection! She hasn't been handled much by her previous owners because of allergies, but in her foster home she just fits right in. She plays with an 11 year old girl as well as the mom and dad and she appears to get along with everyone, she even does well with dogs and other birds. Stella is a little shy at first but warms up quickly enough. She eats Roudybush pellets as well as human snacks, veggies, fruits, nuts and grains. She loves to chew wood and kick around some foot toys. Her approximate age is about 10. She can live to be 60-80 years old and therefore needs to have a committed owner. Might that be you? If so you're the lucky one. :)
