Boudicca's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Boudicca's Story...
I’m a queen in my own right…ready to lead an uprising against homelessness. Like the Boudicca of renaissance times…I refuse to be ruled by occupying forces...of loneliness! I am on a mission to find a family to love and a home to call my own. I am the perfect complement to any GSP loving family, a true representation of the breed. I am sweet, social and friendly. Wonderful with other dogs, eager to please and quick to learn. Active but well mannered, already housebroken and crate trained too. If there was just one word to describe me, I’d say it’s Loyal…all I want to do is be with my people. Leave me in the back yard all day, oh no! I’ll find my way to you. I’m a hang out in the house, cuddle at your feet, follow you to bed type of a girl….a real family member. So if you are looking for a canine companion to join your family look no further then Boudicca…conqueror of lonely hearts. 4 years old- 64lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes; spay, microchip, 1 month pet health insurance, reduced cost training class, free vet exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boudicca, a Portland German Shorthaired Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
