Steven's Story...
I’m Steven and I believe in something…humanity! I just know I’ll find a home with warm-hearted people…maybe someone just like you. I’m a just a pup still, full of life and full of love! I’m a silly guy with a goofy attitude and happy outlook on life. I would really enjoy going to obedience class, and continuing my training…you know us Shepherd live to make our person happy! I have a heart of gold, and I love to spend time with my people and other pooches too. I could even share my home with bigger children, as long as they are old enough to understand that I don’t know how to share my food yet. I’m smart, fast at learning and oh so affectionate. Do you believe in Steven? Well then gimme a chance!!! 9 months old-52lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes; neuter, microchip, 1 month pet health insurance, reduced cost training class, free vet exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Steven, a Portland German Shepherd Dog/Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Great Dane for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Great Dane dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Great Dane breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
