Cookie's Story...
Cookie is a very friendly young lady who loves to play with her kennel mates. She hadn't had any training before coming to us, and needs to be part of a family who will take the time to show her how a young lady should behave. Her foster mom has been working with her, and she is making excellent progress. We're sure once Cookie gets into her new home, she will settle down and fit right in.

Cookie has beautiful brown, tan and white markings, and currently weighs approximately 42 pounds. She would do best in a home with a fenced yard so she has room to burn off her puppy energy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cookie, a Groveland Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Groveland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Groveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
