Zeus's Story...
“My name is Zeus. I "think" I am the top feline of the house because I am the "god of love." I am a cuddler on your lap and in the bed, if permitted. I enjoy other animals of any kind. I enjoy people, but can get a little overwhelmed if things get too crazy. I like to drink out of the spigot in the bath tub, but not those water jugs that gurgle – they are freaky! I give kisses on the fingers and hands just to let you know that you are my "subject" and I appreciate everything you do for me. So why not come and see me, so I can become the "Zeus" of your house!”

Zeus is a gray and white domestic shorthair who was born 1/1/06. This playful boy loves catnip! He has turned into quite a lover and cuddler. His foster home says he’s the “god of love,” hence the name. Zeus is good with other cats and is comfortable around dogs. His foster home leaves his cat carrier open, and they will sometimes find him seeking solitude in the privacy of his carrier. He has been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and tested negative for feline leukemia. To meet this little talker, call 507-451-4512. His adoption fee is $120. (J&JJ)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeus, a Owatonna Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
