More About Me: Meet Brandee. Brandee is a very loyal and fun girl. She absolutely adores her people and canine friends. She bonds quickly to her family and is very sweet and charming. She is quite the happy girl despite her past and is very eager to please and receive praise. She enjoys playing with her canine friends and people. She likes to fetch and love receiving attention and pets. She listens well to foster parents and is quick to correct and roll over into a submissive belly up stance. She really enjoys having a companion dog around to play with and show her the ropes. She does need to work on building her confidence and feeling secure. She is a darling gal and does very well with those she knows, but needs some socialization with strangers that enter the house – she meets people well outside the house but can be a bit apprehensive on affection at first. Brandee was surrendered to the shelter when she learned how to get off her chain from the yard where they kept her. The kids in the house were abusive to her so she would prefer older dog respectful children (or no children) in her new home. Brandee is a bit timid at first and will need a little time to warm up to new people. She is a very sweet girl and attaches quickly to her person when she gets comfortable. She is an exceptionally loving gal with the most charming personality. She is very happy and will reward her new family with loyalty and unconditional love. Check out her video:

History: Brandee has arrived from an overcrowded shelter. NWIPR was asked to pull Brandee and find her a great home. We are so glad to have her join us in rescue.

**Please click here to complete the Adoption Application so we can meet**

Your adoption donation is used to care for and vet the many dogs that enter into rescue from overcrowded shelters where their time is running out-ultimately they are on death row. Your adoption donation goes directly to the care of the many dogs that enter into rescue. All dogs leave rescue vaccinated, sterilized, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and medically checked out. In some cases they receive dentals, ear flush, surgeries, and so on to ensure that they are healthy and ready to be adopted. Your adoption donation is very much appreciated and needed to help care for the many needy dogs that enter into rescue. New adopters receive a FREE exam coupon at a local veterinary clinic in Lynnwood OR a $30 care voucher to a veterinary chain (so be sure to ask about these coupons if you are interested).

NOTE: Please do not email for more dog info. This is all the info available until approved application is received and then you can talk directly to that dog's foster home for further info. Thank you!

NWIPR's adoption process includes completion of an adoption application, a vet check, screening, in person meeting, a home visit and a lifetime adoption contract. NWIPR is the pet's advocate and will select the most suitably matched home for the dog's general and unique needs, therefore adoptions are not done on a first come first serve basis. We reserve the right to refuse service and adoption for any reason.

PLEASE NOTE: The information contained within this pet's biography is based on observations from the current foster home. NWIPR is very honest about the pet's behavior and needs (and provides up to date information), we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners as individual household dynamics vary greatly.

***Do you or someone you know have the desire to help a rescue dog? If you have a loving heart, dog experience, a safe and secure yard and the notion to make a difference, please consider fostering a rescue dog. There are MANY dogs that we just do not have room for and just one person can make a world of difference to a dog that needs a safe place to rest his or her weary paws.....***

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brandee, a Lynnwood Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Lynnwood, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Lynnwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lynnwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lynnwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lynnwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
