Laverne & Shirley's Story...
Hi, there! We are LaVerne and Shirley, stray shepherd pups that were rescued from an Indian Reservation. We weighed 16 pounds in this photo taken at just under 4 months of age on March 1, 2012. We will likely grow into medium sized dogs at 40-50 pounds. (Our feet are smaller than our 50 pound friend.) We are spayed, current on shots and will be micro chipped before going home with you. We are currently being fostered in a home with 3 other large dogs, but have not been around cats yet., although we have been fine with them at Adoption Fairs. We know how to sit and all housebroken and even know how to use a doggy door! We are very nice pups, even though we have been through a lot, and would really like to stay together as we really love each other. The adoption donation is $350 for both of us. Call Tuffie's Animal Rescue at (623) 587-9119 or (925) 209-6480 if you are looking for double fun and friendship!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Laverne & Shirley, a Phoenix Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
