Jodi's Story...
My story: Hi I"m Jodi. I was found with my litter as a tiny 10 day old kitten. We were bottle fed so of course I am super sweet. As you can see I have a very pretty coat and love to be with you. I lay on my foster daddy's chest and just gaze at him as I am so happy to just be loved. I can purr up a storm when you hit the right spot and love to play and run with my sister Jax. I am super ready for my forever home and would love to go with my sister if possible, but will do fine if not. Are you looking for a snuggler like me? Good with Cats: Yes | Good with Dogs: Yes | Good with Children: Yes For more information contact: Janet DuBois at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jodi, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
