Chessee 1508's Story...
Chessee (or "Cheesy Girl" as we like to call her) is a big sweety who is ready to be given the good, loving life she deserves. Chessee was originally a stray that we brought over from Animal Control. When she was turned in, she was very frail, thin, and neglected. Surprisingly though, her spirits have always been high. Chessee absolutely loves to play and we can tell that she wants to run to her heart's content, but we are trying to keep her as calm as we can so she can gain more weight and have a healthy body to match her healthy mind. She keeps her area very tidy so, if she isn't housebroken already, it will more than likely be very easy to train her to be. Chessee can climb over a six foot privacy fence and will need to be supervised very closely when outdoors. Chessee is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chessee 1508, a Columbus Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
