My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When we went to pick Sugar up from AAS, her foster “daddy “and new foster “sister” went to the dog park behind the shelter so they could meet on neutral ground. When we walked to the car to put some paperwork in their before we went to the dog park, I bent down and pretty instantly laid her head on my chest and was wanting love and affection! I then walked her to the park bent down again to give her some reassurance and she then again buried her head in my chest for me to love and rub on her. We walked to her “daddy” whom to she did the same thing! We then realized that this sweet baby just needed some good ‘ole fashion LOVIN’! At first, both our rottie and Sugar did not really show an interest in each other. After we got home they both went outside to potty, then ate some lunch and then we began bath time. We let Sugar watch her foster “sister” get a bath first to show her that it would be okay. We took it slow and soon realized that she LOVED bath time!!! She stood as still as she could while her “daddy” scrubbed and brushed her and got her clean. She loves to lie next to the window (with the blinds open) in the dining area. This sweet baby just needs to learn to trust again and know that she is loved! I think she will make a great addition to someone’s family in her new FUR ever home!!!
