Meet Tristan! Tristan is a sweet, gorgeous 5 month old male GSD pup. He was rescued from a kill shelter when his time ran out and no one came looking for him.

Tristan is an active, playful boy. He loves people, and gets along well with other dogs. He's a typical GSD puppy that will need guidance to learn what is expected of him. A formal obedience class would do wonders for him, and would also help him bond with his new family.

Tristan must go to an indoor home where he will be an important part of the family. We do not adopt to anyone under the age of 21.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tristan, a Brattleboro German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
