Sprite's Story...
Sprite is a very timid cat who is looking for a home who will give her time and patience. She promises to be a loving cat who will bring joy and love in return. Sprite will take some time to warm up to her new surroundings, but that special person will make her feel welcome and loved. My yorkie is Sprite's best friend. She seems to get along with all dogs, and most cats. Sprite's eye surgery has made her feel very cautious when it comes to people, so please give this one-eyed sweetie a chance.

Sprite is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV/FELV negative. Her adoption fee is $85.

Several of our cats can be seen at the following Houston Petsmarts 7 days a week any time the store is open.
Additional cats are available for viewing at Petsmart each weekend from 12-6pm.
Please email to assure the cat you are interested in will be at the weekend event!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sprite, a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
