Gomez - Bonded with Stirling's Story...
Gomez and his brothers are the babies of a feral stray mother who were kidnapped and hand raised so that they may find the good, safe and loving home that eludes their birth mother. He and his brothers were born in the first week of September, 2011, and taken to be hand raised when he was only a few days old.

All three boys lived in a basket on their foster mom's bed where they were lovingly hand-raised and hand fed until they were old enough to wean. As a result he and his brothers think they are human, and crave human affection. Gomez was named after Gomez Adams. He loves to give kisses, and will kiss you up the arm just like his namesake from The Adams Family. He has beautiful exotic bone structure that looks very oriental. He looks like an elegant Egyptian cat, and his coat his glossy coat feels like mink. He has a small white spot on his chest (just like his brother Sterling), gold eyes, a small white spot on his lower tummy and a small white spot under his right front arm. (... a tear in his jacket? ;-) )

Like his brothers, Gomez LOVES attention and LOVES TO SNUGGLE! He loves to be close to his humans and would melt into you if he could. He is a purring machine. He is very playful, loves toys and to play. Like is brothers, he is very gentile when playing, and never uses a sharp claw on a person. He loves his brothers, but is particularly bonded with Sterling. Sterling and Gomez are like bookends, and they do everything together. They often sleep together in a circle looking like the symbol of Yin and Yang. When Gomez and Sterling aren't playing a game of tag, they are cuddled together, bathing each other, or enjoying a delicious nap. He lives with other cats, dogs (including big dogs!), kids and an active family - he can handle it all!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gomez - Bonded with Stirling, a Burbank Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Burbank, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Burbank.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burbank already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burbank breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burbank paves the way for another one to be saved.
