Duke's Story...
Duke: gray tabby, medium hair, male, born approx. 6/1/05, #9186P
Donnie: gray tabby w/ tan, medium hair, DECLAWED, male, born approx. 6/1/07, #9187P
These handsome boys were relinquished to The Rescue House after their guardian died and nobody else in the family wanted them.
Duke is very affectionate and greatly enjoys his lap time; he has a cute little meow that he uses to ask for pets. Duke will purr and purr and purr, amping it up as he makes muffins on your legs. He likes to put his face up to yours and give "kitty kisses" as he bumps noses or rubs on your chin. Duke likes his pets so much that he may get a bit upset when you stop and take your hand away.
Donnie is more reserved, yet he is very affectionate once he feels comfortable and will also do some serious muffin making on a lap. He gets to purring so hard sometimes he gets a little drooly-faced. At night, Donnie loves to snuggle up in bed with you.
The boys have gone through some hard times and will need time and patience to adjust to a new home. Once they settle in, their sweet and loving natures will absolutely shine!
Duke and Donnie are fine with other respectful cats though are unlikely to make friends with them... they are human-focused. They would rather not live with dogs or children and prefer a quiet home.
It’s hard to believe that Duke and Donnie could ever be unwanted. They’re prepared to dish out so much love and affection to the lucky family who takes them home. Will you adopt one or both of them? Hope you’re ready for some super-snuggly cats in your lap!
