Murphy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Murphy's Story...
Murphy
Single red male (dachshund) seeking committed relationship. Smart,
funny, good looking, with an athletic build and a zest for life.
Enjoys socializing with people, other dogs, and cats are okay, but no
kids. Loves playing ball, long walks in the park, scenic drives in the
car, playing ball, cuddling on the couch, taking long naps, playing
ball, just hangin' out, and playing ball!
Sensitive type but does appreciate a person control. Had heart broken
in the past, and will need time to re-build trust with someone new,
but is well worth the effort.
Call so we can meet, coffee, yappy hour, you name it!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Murphy, a Council Bluffs Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Council Bluffs, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Council Bluffs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Council Bluffs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Council Bluffs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Council Bluffs paves the way for another one to be saved.
