Beautiful Sweet Belle is a very special girl who has a very deprived past. She is an older girl and appears to be a wonderful mix of lab and greyhound. Her owners moved and left her tied on a 4 foot chain like she was trash to be thrown away and left behind. She was left without food, water, and very little shelter. She was alone for two weeks and was about to be seized by animal control. Being big and black, she would have been euthanized immediately. Her plea was heard by Lucky Lab and there was no way this girl was going to die having never been loved and appreciated. Rumor has it from some neighbors that she has been on that chain her entire life. Belle is very laid back in the house and has great manners, but she loves to play with her foster siblings outside. She doesn't act a day over 3. She did not know how to play at first, but is catching on very quickly. She LOVES the water and loves taking walks. She also loves to sleep in bed with her foster parents and curl up to watch a good movie. She is finally getting to enjoy her life the way she should have been all along. Her foster parents love her to pieces, but they also know that she deserves a home of her own to be cherished as the great dog that she is. Belle is house trained and knows basic commands like sit and shake. She is a very smart girl and eager to please. She literally smiles when she is bragged on for being a good girl. No one has ever told her she was a good girl in her past life.
