Gigi's Story...
Gigi was found on a major highway along with her daughter Katie. They were both infested with worms, fleas, starved, dirty, tired, mange and open wounds from scratching so much.
The girls were brought to a kill shelter and Tiny Paws rescued these girls asap and started treatment on them.
Gigi is a 1.5yr old shihtzu/lhapso who weighs 12lbs. She is sweet sweet and happy girl. Loves to play with squeaky toys and run around with the other dogs.

I do great with people and other dogs.
I am young so I do have some spunk

Would be great as a family dog, with a person that's is home often, or with a home with other dogs. I would be happy anywhere just need a loving forever home

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gigi, a New Milford Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso for sale in New Milford, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in New Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
