James's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Meet James, the biggest ham in the world! James is one year old and still plays non-stop. He loves toys, water, bugs, your feet, just about anything that moves. If you need laughter in your life, then you need James! There is never a dull moment with James around!
But James can be very loving too. He loves to sit on your lap and rub his head on your hand to let you know that he needs some love. He purrs and talks to you and will follow you around like a dog. James loves to chase balls and if he can get a hold of it with his teeth, will bring it back to you and drop it so you can throw it again. He is very smart and learned his name within 2 days :)
His colors are hard to see in pictures but he is actually a brown/black tuxedo. He has beautiful long fur but doesn't shed much. Maybe it's because he's never in one place long enough to leave his mark. :)
James has tested positive for Leukemia, but can still live a long life with the proper care and love. He currently lives with other cats who are negative but who have all been vaccinated. James would be fine as an only cat too as long as you had the time to play with him.
James is neutered and vaccinated and ready to go! If you would like to open your heart and your home to James, you will not be disappointed! His adoption fee is $50. If you are interested in meeting James, please contact us for an application. cyndy@happytailsaz.org.

Rescue Group Info...
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. In July of 2009 we joined together with fellow rescuers on a mission to save a pack of about 30 dogs from the Fort McDowell Casino area and by the end of the year we had rescued over 80 dogs from there! AZ Happy Tails is committed to the rescue and placement of stray, abandoned, and e-listed animals as well. We think all pets deserve caring and compassionate homes, and the chance to live healthy, happy lives in safe environments. We strive to educate and raise awareness of the importance of animal respect and appreciation.
We have our adoptable pets available to meet on Saturdays at Tempe Pet Club, located on the NW corner of Guadalupe and McClintock. Please email us to confirm if you'd like to see a specific pet!
