My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Taz is the perfect boy: housebroken, healthy, great with kids, cats and dogs, and so affectionate - - he's never met a lap he didn't like!! We think Taz is about 1 - 1 1/2 years old, he's healthy and he weighs just about 10 pounds. Taz grew up on a college campus where he got "A's" from everyone for sociability, friendliness, lap-warming, and cuddling. Unfortunately, the college kids who owned him got an "F" for "responsibility". When they got caught keeping him illegally in a dorm, they dumped Taz at a high-kill shelter. By that point, Taz's hair was so severely matted from never having been groomed (see BEFORE photo) that it all had to be shaved off. (Now it's starting to grow back and will turn into a thick lush coat in no time!!) We're not sure if he's purebred (he may be a "Blue Tuxedo" Shih-tzu) or a mix, but if you've got an empty lap, Taz will be happy to fill it!
