Toffee's Story...
This beautiful, energetic little girl was brought into the shelter a matted mess. Look at her NOW!! Toffee is a Butterscotch/Parti miniature poodle (dark chocolate spots on back and sides) who weighs about 15 lbs. and is seven years 'Young'. She was adopted once from the shelter, then returned because she would dash for the door and was very active. they exclaimed:" She doesn't act like she's seven!" Hmmm ... maybe they were unfamiliar with the breed? We certainly didn't think she deserved a death sentence for that! She will make a wonderful companion for someone who is willing to provide her a secure enviroment, and exercise her regularly. I don't think that's too much to ask?? How about you? She is very affectionate, doesn't like the crate too much, but seems to be house trained. She loves to go for walks and rides in the car. She just wants to be near you often. I think she would make an excellent friend for an active retiree, or someone who can take their pal to work. Toffee has been groomed, spayed, vaccinated, including Rabies and Bordatella, she was tested for heart worms, and treated for fleas and worms. Her adoption fee is $200.00. If you would like to have an amazing, loyal companion, e-mail us for an adoption application. Toffee can't wait to hear from you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toffee, a Baltimore Miniature Poodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Poodle for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Miniature Poodle dog from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Poodle breeders who help with Miniature Poodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
