Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ziggy is the most loveable girl and has an adorable way of galloping around with her nub of a tail twitching when she's really happy or excited which is just about any time she sees her people. She was born deaf but knows basic hand commands and other than the fact she doesn’t come when called you would never know she's deaf! She loves other dogs and feels more confident with a friendly canine companion to be her ears. She is a tough little girl who never complains and will always be happy to see you.
The end of 2011 and beginning of 2012 were rough on her as she developed MRSA (a very aggressive, antibiotic-resistant staph infection) due to a weakened immune system. As soon as she recovered from the MRSA, she was found to have a large cancerous tumor on her back side which was caused by the sun. She is fully recovered from both but should go to a forever family able to keep her time in the sunshine minimal and provide for he in the slight chance of future medical needs. With a little TLC, she can lead a normal and healthy life.
The right home for her will have only dogs who are very sweet and submissive. This is for her protection as she loves to play but can’t get too rough and the fact that some dogs realize she’s weaker than them and will take advantage.
And she LOVES to play in the water (especially the sprinkler) which you can see in the beginning of the video of her with her foster brothers and sister.
