Petunia - Crosspost's Story...
***Petunia is a crosspost for a fellow rescue group in Texas, which is where she is located.***

Petunia was hanging out in a bayou with other 3 dogs in SW Houston, she was in heat and owners were never found. A good samaritan picked her up before she ended up in Animal Control.

Petunia is approx 1 1/2yr old and weighs 55lbs; she may put 5-10 lbs as she reaches adulthood. She is very docile with people and gets along with other dogs.

She is crate trained and is doing great with house training; she takes care of business in the back yard.

Petunia has already been spayed and microchipped, she is current on vaccinations, is dewormed and is on Heartworm and flea preventative. If you would like more information on this beautiful girl please contact us at info@rescue-a-bull.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petunia - Crosspost, a Staatsburg American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Staatsburg, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Staatsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staatsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staatsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staatsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
