Scrappy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Scrappy's Story...
8-month old Scrappy is doing well in foster care and enjoying lots of playtime with the other bullies. He loves to go for walks with them, chase around with them in the yard and isn’t scared to get in the middle of their rough & tumble games! Scrappy has to go back to the orthopedic vet in a few weeks time for x-rays and surgery to straighten out his deformed front paw. Meanwhile, it’s certainly not stopping him from enjoying himself! He would love a new permanent (or foster) home with another dog, and is well-behaved and gentle enough to be around children too. He loves to snuggle on the couch at the end of the day!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scrappy, a Houston Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
