Cassie is a strong, confident dog who needs an experienced home without other pets. She’s a playful and affectionate girl who knows her obedience commands. She recently had a sleepover at a staff member’s home and was the perfect house guest. She’s housebroken, clean and very respectful in a home.
We are a not for profit no-kill animal shelter serving Putnam County NY. We were incorporated in 1957.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We are open 7 days a week from 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM. You can meet with our dogs from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and our cats from 10:00 AM to 4:15 PM. Closed major holidays, extended hours in the summer. See our website for most current information.
Our Adoption Process...
All adoptions include: spay/neuter, current vaccinations, micro-chipping, and free initial vet visit to a selected area vets. Dogs adoption fee is $175, cat adoption fee is $100.00. The puppy adoption fee for dogs one year of age and under is $ 225.00. The kitten adoption fee for kittens 6 months of age and under is $ 150.00. The fee to adopt Senior Dogs and Cats (8 years and older) is $ 50.00.
