Update 4/29/12: Bianca is starting to feel quite comfortable in her foster home. We have discovered that she is obsessed with chasing shadows. She will run around the house in the evenings chasing her own shadow and everyone else's. She loves to play and will completely entertain herself. As you can see from the picture she sometimes plays so hard she falls asleep on top of her toy. She has the furriest feet! She has tufts of fur growing between every toe. Bianca loves to walk in the shower when you get out, just to see what you do in there. Her feet are so furry she can't feel the water. Her eyes are REALLY that green...the picture is in no way enhanced. They are gorgeous.

Bianca came to us with a sad story, as most do. She was dumped in a cat carrier in front of the gate to the animal shelter at night. So there she sat alone on the side of the road in the dark in the middle of winter. A good Samaritan came along and found her at about midnight. They took her home, but the house with a new baby and a 2 year old toddler running around was too hectic for Bianca. After a month, they decided it wasn't a good fit for her and gave her to another family member who tried to keep her but they unfortunately had many other cats and no experience with the grooming needs of a persian.
This is how Bianca made her way to us, and why we are so determined to find her the perfect forever home. We think she is a magnificent princess who deserves only the best. She is a stunning cat with beautiful green eyes and fur like an Angora bunny. Bianca is nicknamed "Miss Prissy Pants." She can be a bit of a diva with other cats as she considers that they are beneath her. She prefers to have you all to herself so she would do best as an only child. Bianca is not demanding about attention but she will follow you where ever you go in the house just waiting to be acknowledged.
She is quite confident and adjusts to her new surroundings amazingly well, considering all the change she has had in her life. She likes to lie in a sunny window and watch the birds and squirrels. You can hold her in your arms like a baby and she will fall asleep. Sometimes she forgets that she is a princess and she will "let loose" and do flips trying to catch her feather toy. She also likes to drink out of the faucet, so she will sit in the bathroom and stare at the sink waiting for you to turn it on. This perfect little treasure needs a family that will be committed to her for life. She deserves to find her happy ending.
