The best way to describe Tilly is happy, go-lucky! Her tail is always in motion along with a big smile on her face. She practically oozes love and joy out of her fur! Now our sweet gal does have a few pounds to lose but she's happy to go walking with you, all the while wagging her tail! She loves all people and recently showed off her stellar personality at an Easter Parade where she showed up the Easter Bunny! But don't take my word for what an amazing dog Tilly is. Here is just one of the glowing comments from our RESCUE volunteers:
"Tilly is absolutely wonderful! Tilly is a happy, go-lucky girl. She is intelligent, kind and gentle; and as mentioned by others: her tail is always wagging. She attempted to sit a couple times during our walk, but I kept her going by encouraging her through positive reinforcement (like hugs and kisses) and she eventually changed her tune - that walking is a not a chore, but enjoyable and exciting. She was very curious, almost amazed, of all the different sights and smells. She gladly sniffed bushes and trees. She was very kind to a couple that stopped to pet her and even gave the female a big slurpy kiss. At one point, we sat down in the grass to play and Tilly seemed to think that she was a 4 lb. puppy. She rolled onto and over my lap, played tug-o-war and wrestled a bit. She is definitely a puppy at heart and seems to crave play time, as well as snuggle time. She adores her belly being rubbed and big bear hugs. Tilly is such a sweet girl and is ready for a home that will give her the much needed play and love time that she deserves."
