Update 4/18/12: Meet Quinn!



Quinn is a 1 year old Cockapoo that our volunteers just rescued from a local pound.



Quinn is new to our rescue, and so we are still getting to know him. As we learn more, we will update this posting. So far, Quinn is quite a charmer. He likes to be picked up, gets along with other dogs and has a playful personality.

While in the care of the Sadie Mae Foundation, all animals are fully vaccinated, heart worm tested and spayed or neutered. Other medical treatments may be provided to our animals, depending upon their specific needs.

Please note that we do not ship animals or do same-day adoptions. Additionally, we ordinarily limit adoptions to homes within CT or no more than an hour or so drive from Hartford, CT in order to be able to conduct a home visit and provide follow-up assistance when necessary. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.



We try to make our adoption process as easy and painless as possible, but please understand where we are coming from and all of the work that goes into rescuing and rehoming homeless animals.
