Millie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Millie's Story...
Millie is a 1 1/2 year old spayed female Border Collie/Beagle mix who was brought to the shelter by an owner who could no longer care for her. It is reported that Millie is good with other dogs, good with older children. She has lived with another dog, a cat, and three children ages 8 and 11. She is house trained and micro-chipped, so you can register her with your information. She enjoys going for a ride in the car. She will need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to help her become a nice family member. She will be available for adoption on April 24th after 6pm.

If you want to apply for this dog click here.
You can then email the application to the Meridian Animal Shelter.

Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged.
All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millie, a Meridian Border Collie/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Beagle for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Border Collie/Beagle dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Beagle breeders who help with Border Collie/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
