Ira's Info...
| Breed: | Persian | Color: | White | Age: | Adult |
| Sex: | Male | ID#: | 4494507 | Hair: | Long |
I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Ira is a very sweet Persian with a great 'dog-cat' personality. He can be a little shy at first around new people but warms up quickly. He gets along well with dogs and other cats. He can play a little rough with other cats, and he seems to prefer to bound around the house chasing a ball by himself.
Although he loves scratches and attention, he is never pushy. He just waits at your feet until you reach down to pet him. He is a little too independent to be a 'lap cat' but loves to curl up next to you on the couch or bed so you can reach over and scratch under his chin often. He is not a huge fan of being held, but he always comes when you call him. His long fur requires fairly frequent brushing, and he holds pretty still for trimming out mats. Some of his favorite things are cushy beds, cat nip, and wads of paper. Ira was adopted once, but was recently returned when his owners no longer wanted to care for him. If you want to see this good guy please call the shelter to arrange a time with his foster mom.
Ira is FIV +. Please talk to your vet or a shelter staff member about adopting him.

Once the application is approved, and adoption contract is filled out.
The adoption price for cats (6 months or older) is $75.
The adoption price for kittens (under 6 months) is $50.
