Lilly's Story...
DOB August 10, 2011. Lilly appeared one day in an industrial area of Toronto. Fortunately, she found her way to a cat loving complex, where there is a small, managed feral colony. She quickly revealed herself to be social, so the kind colony caregiver scooped her up and brought her inside to safety. Lilly had been struggling alone outside for some time. Understandably, she is a tad shy at first, but it doesn't take her long to warm up.

Lilly is still a playful kitten, intrigued with furry mice and fishing pole toys. She'd do best in a home with another pet, which could be another cat or even a dog. This sweetie was totally comfortable in the presence of the four dogs in her foster home. Lovely Lilly promises to reward her forever family with all the kitty love and purrs their hearts can hold - plus some!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Toronto Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
