Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Notes: Hi! They call me Trixie, but my full name is Beatrix-Belle. I am a short-haired, spayed female calico with all my claws. I'm also current on my vaccinations. Although a lady never tells her age, I'm probably around 3 years old. You see, my former humans moved out of our home suddenly one night, and left me and a couple of my feline housemates to fend for ourselves. That was nearly a year ago. Since then, my girlfriend had 2 litters of kittens outside and neighbors took them in, but somehow they overlooked me.
The nice lady who takes care of me doesn't live in my neighborhood anymore and didn't realize until March that I spent the entire hard winter outside on my own. For the past 2 months she has kept me in a bedroom in her vacant duplex. She comes to see me every evening--that takes 2 hours every day. Too much time for her, but not enough time for me! And, because she's planning to rent or sell the duplex very soon, I need to find a permanent and loving indoor home.
I don't think I fit the calico stereotype because I am very sweet, friendly to strangers, playful and fully contented to relax near my lady when she comes to visit. My lady has grown very fond of me (and the feeling is mutual), but is in a situation where I cannot go live with her. We both hope that I find another human who can love me just as much....and soon. I'm looking forward to getting out of this bedroom!
